At Philadelphia Area Math Teachers' Circle workshops, we do math...for fun! English teachers read and write, art teachers craft, and music teachers perform...but why should they have all the fun? At each workshop, we engage in recreational math by tackling one outlandish problem together. No matter what your level of experience or comfort with math, we guarantee that you can start the problem, have fun with it, and stretch it as far as you'd like.
We don't do worksheet problems, and we don't sift through dusty college textbooks! Our workshops are also great networking opportunities!
Please register in advance, so that we have the appropriate amount of food and materials. You may register at the door, or bring guests, but we cannot ensure that there will be enough food or materials.
