Minnewaska Hike 2

Join the Outsiders on Sunday, March 28th for our Minnewaska Hike. We'll enjoy the fresh spring air, a peaceful lake, and a perfect Sunday surrounded by nature. There is one section that will be a steep descent where we will have to hold onto the rocks or the root of a tree. It's an 8th of a mile but everything else is comprised of carriage trails, a small section with traditional hiking trails, and a wide-open face rock trail. Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Worthwild in Chelsea. After the hike, we'll make a stop at a brewery or pub for food and drinks before heading back home.

Tickets are $59.95 x person with transportation in our 4 Volvo SUVs. This includes, beer provided by Fat Tire, and Volvo will be providing some food at our after-hike hangout. 

EVENT DETAILS:

• 10:00 AM – Meet at Worthwild
• 10:30 AM – Depart
• 12:00 PM – Arrive at hike entrance
• 1:45 PM – Snack break on the trail
• 3:00 PM – Conclude hike head to a brewery or pub/ grill TBD
• 5:30 PM - Depart back to NYC
