Strengthening Families through Good Conversation that matters, food, tea, and a warm atmosphere, at no cost too! You come together with friends, acquaintances, neighbors, strangers to talk more than casual conversation. You come to express your point of view. Then, you will further explore, develop, and possibly rehabilitates your own opinion after engaging in Conversation that matters! We want to empower our families with the tools that work for good!
Community Cafe is a program that changes the lives of the Families through Conversations that Matter. It will generate parent voice and action while honoring the collective wisdom of the parent leaders living in Northeast Houston off of I 45 Freeway and the surrounding area. We will dialogue based on five essential needs of thriving families. Young parents, older parents, and grandparents are invited! Men are welcome to attend.
Helen Johnson, HJ Enterprise & Counseling Service facilitate the session in a group setting. She has a wealth of information and knows how to create a warm environment for growth. Together participants of these conversations will learn how meaningful conversation can strengthen families, grow leadership and develop community partnerships with families. I hope to have a few government organizations there as well.
Food by Edible Empire, Sonya Johnson will be provided and of course tea and a Holiday atmosphere at no cost to you. Vendors come out and Showcase your business for a small fee. Let people know about your goods or services. Craft vendors your unique holiday items will be sought out and a big hit. See you there!
