The Outsiders in partnership with Clif Bar are back for the fourth annual one-way bike Ride to Rockaway Beach! The ride starts in downtown Manhattan and cruises over the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn with a pit stop along the way in Red Hook. From there we'll continue through Brooklyn's most interesting neighborhoods before concluding in Queens at Rockaway Beach. When we get to the beach expect a rad, Outsider’s-only beach hangout complete with beach volleyball, and all the beach goodies you wish you had. Did we mention we’ll have some complimentary drinks from our friends at White Claw, Jefferson's Bourbon & the Liver Bashers? Yes, we have a lot of friends :)
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
We'll have a charter bus bringing people back to Manhattan from Rockaway Beach at 7pm. Please note there is limited space on this bus. The first 50 people who reserve their space on the bus will have priority. Keep in mind there are many ways to get back to Manhattan on your own which are listed below.
This event is BYOB (bring your own bike) and $20 x person. Don't have a bike? Rent one from the guys and gals at Unlimited Biking. See the details below, invite your friends and get ready to ride!

If you rent a bike from us (link below) we'll have you bike picked up and once you get to the beach and brought back to the rental shop, hassle free... ON TOP OF THAT. We'll also be doing the same for you if you bring your own bike. You'll be able to pick up your bike from the store (meet-up point) the day after for a $10/day storage fee.

NEED A BIKE?
Our friends from Unlimited Biking have hooked it up with a $39 x person bike rental rate that includes pick up at Rockaway Beach. You won't have to worry about bringing your bike back, just enjoy the one-way ride to the beach! For those of you who want a little boost Unlimited Biking is also offering electronic bike rentals for $99.

If you aren't joining us on the charter bus back to Manhattan, below is a list of all the options you have for getting home on your own after our beach hangs! Â
1) Bike - Google Maps is your friend here, you search for biking directions to keep you safe on bike lanes.Â

2) Subway - We're a short walk away from the Rockaway Park Shuttle from there you'll transfer to the A train at Beach 90th Street and ride back to Brooklyn, Manhattan or wherever you need to go!Â

3) Ferry - The ferry terminal is located at Beach 108th Street and departs approximately every 25 minutes to Sunset Park in Brooklyn and Wall Street. On the weekends plan to get there at least 15-20 minutes before to make sure you can get on! Here are the departure times:
