“...your overall sound is so fresh, totally unique in style
. . .not to mention the awesome songwriting.”

Annie and Rod Capps have established themselves as well-respected songwriters, musicians and performers, with three albums topping the Folk Radio charts and as 2-time Kerrville New Folk Finalists.
The Capps’ sound meets at the intersection of Americana & Folk citing rock, jazz and bluegrass influences. The duo is on a musical journey that began in 1982, culminating into a symbiotic sound that reflects their deep and intuitive understanding of each other. Annie’s disarming, earthy voice and solid command of her guitar are punctuated by Rod’s effortless, accompaniment and beautiful solo work on both guitar and viola. Together they weave unforgettable melodies that are at once intricate and sparse – musically completing each others’ sentences.
“A delightfully sweet organic set that refines and defines the corner of folk and Americana.” – Midwest Record
“Annie Capps’ vocals shine with the energy befitting a Broadway musical and the acoustic compositions are enchanting, all the while the lyrical tales make the best of the human experience.” – Melissa Clarke, Americana Highways
“It’s music written for those in the know, those with an extended record collection who can tell the real from the fake, the true from the false and the musicians steeped in the history rather than someone passing themselves off as the next big thing.” – T. Bebedor, Dancing with Architecture
“It’s a collection of rather delightful folk songs that vary from merry to wistful and never get heavy handed. All in all, pure class.” – Slim Chance is Back
“A musical ‘happy pill’ that once again realizes there is always a solution for a problem… Their creativity has an emotional depth comparable to work by the great ones!” – Bluestown Music (the Netherlands)
