Author Event with Garth Nix/We Do Not Welcome Our Ten-Year-Old Overlord

Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with Garth Nix, to celebrate the release of his newest book, We Do Not Welcome Our Ten-Year-Old Overlord, on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm in our Naperville store.

Garth has drawn on a lifetime of playing D&D and other games to create a special audience collaboration fantasy roleplaying game called ESCAPE FROM THE ENCHANTER for the event, which he will run. This will take about 20 minutes of the program. Every audience member will receive immensely collectible (probably not actually) badly drawn (by Garth) character and item cards!

*The first 50 ticket buyers will receive complimentary D&D dice (pictured below).*

Event Format

We will begin checking you in approximately 30 minutes before the start time. After a presentation and Q&A with the author, the line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:

• Posed photo with your camera taken by our staff

• There is a limit of 2 books from home to be signed (unless otherwise stated)
  

• There is a limit of 1 personalization of the new book only (unless otherwise stated)

Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.
