About the author:

Mary McCoy is a writer and a librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library. She grew up in western Pennsylvania and studied at Rhodes College and the University of Wisconsin.  She is the author of 2019 Printz Honor Book I, Claudia, Camp So-and-So and Dead to Me. Mary lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Amy Spalding is the author of several novels, including the bestselling We Used to Be Friends and The Summer of Jordi Perez (and the Best Burger in Los Angeles), which was named a best book of 2018 by NPR, the Boston Globe, Kirkus, and more.
