Safety and Security in Places of Worship - Workshop

For years, churches assumed that "it can't happen here." It took catastrophic active-shooter events for many congregations to realize that they too were vulnerable to a church shooter. Protector’s Toolkit is a faith-based organization and understands the vital role that churches play in communities. We not only train churches in safety and security, we provide it in the congregations where we worship. Protector’s Toolkit believes that churches do not have to (and should not) "militarize" in order to have a secure worship environment.

Your church can be secure, yet welcoming. A church that provides for safety and security, in a biblical way, for its members and guests, will be a more welcoming church. Church Safety and Security should never compromise the mission of the church. This workshop provides leaders and volunteers the knowledge they need to build, develop and lead a church safety and security ministry
