Recipe Developer Workshop: Introduction to Recipe Development and Writing

Join our editorial staff, recipe developers and teachers for an immersive behind-the-scenes look at Milk Street recipe development.

Our workshop begins with a tutorial on the Milk Street recipe development process. Then you and a small team will work with a Milk Street senior staffer to put words into action and develop a new recipe from start to finish. You'll brainstorm ideas, create a working draft of a recipe, then test your theory, learning and adjusting as you go. You'll finish by presenting your dish—and a completed recipe—to the rest of the class. We'll end the day with a round table conversation and meal of Milk Street recipes with juicy development stories.

This is a hands-on writing and cooking class led by Milk Street's editorial director JM Hirsch and Milk Street Cooking School teachers.
