Leave your 21st century troubles behind and spend an evening in a colonial tavern at the Old Barracks Museum’s Tavern Night Fundraiser on the evening of September 16. Live music, food, and drink, set the scene of an evening in 18th century Trenton.
The Old Barracks Museum will transform into a colonial tavern filled with music, drinks, and candlelight. Musicians will perform popular songs from the 18th century. Hors d’oeuvres and an open bar of beer and wine will be provided throughout the evening. Bid on a wide range of items in the Silent Auction, including tickets to Disney World, 4 tickets to a NY Jets game, family portraits, a one-week stay in a Myrtle Beach, SC beach house, and many more prizes donated by local businesses.
Period dress is neither required nor discouraged, and you will find many people from the past and present mingling together.
All proceeds from this fundraiser support educational programming for more than 10,000 New Jersey students through our innovative 'Meet the Past' field trips.
