“ZooLAbration” kicks off the L.A. Zoo’s 50th-anniversary celebration with its popular L.A. Zoo Lights. While the animals are sleeping at night, the zoo’s annual holiday show gives visitors plenty to look at, including thousands of LED lights, a disco ball forest, twinkle tunnels, illuminated snowflakes and a giant, illuminated snake that sits on top of the LAIR (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles). New this year is a laser show, waterfall feature and a shadow puppet installation. Guests can also take photos with Santa on select dates and see a real reindeer family.
