Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is pleased to invite you to a workshop for parents and caregivers of teens and adolescents. The workshop will be led by Isy Abraham-Raveson, and focus on helping attendees increase their skill and confidence in talking to their children about sexual health, relationships and sexuality. A resource list will also be shared with parents, including CHOP's new website to help parents have "the talk" with their teen, www.parentsaretalking.com.
Isy Abraham-Raveson is a sexuality educator with a degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She has a breadth of experiences educating adults and children of all ages. She has conducted workshops on sexuality in middle schools, high schools, and at CHOP. Isy has faciliated several parent workshops at CHOP on this topic. She is the co-founder of YES! (Your Empowered Sexuality!), an organization that facilitates workshops on consent and other sexuality topics for high school students.
