Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with Max Greenfield, to celebrate the release of his newest book, Good Night Thoughts, on Wednesday, September 4th at 7:00 pm in the Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove. All books will be pre-signed. Greenfield is not signing anything during the event.
Event Format
We will begin checking you in approximately 60 minutes before the start time. You will receive your pre-signed book when you check in. After a presentation and Q&A with the author, the line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:

All events have open seating. The “Order Line Number” on your pdf ticket is your reserved place in the photo line. You will line up to meet the author based on that number.
If you cannot attend, you must pick up your book (if included with ticket) at the nearest store within 30 days of the event. We can ship that book to you for an additional charge of $9.99; please call the store to arrange that.
Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.
What do we do when we can't fall asleep? The child in this story has racing thoughts--funny, silly, and scary--that are running on a cycle they can't stop. It's only when they begin to think to themselves: Do any of these thoughts have merit? Am I in any danger right here and now? that they are finally able to settle down.
This lovely picture book is a simple but complex message about acknowledging anxiety without succumbing to it that will appeal to so many little ones (and adults) out there who find that nighttime is when their thoughts carry the most weight.
