When two master spoken word artists team up, the sum is greater than the parts!

The Washington Post describes Noa Baum as someone who "spreads cultural truths that eclipse geopolitical boundaries...". Born and raised in Israel, Noa is an award winning storyteller, author and coach focusing on the power of narrative to heal across divides of identity and build bridges of peace. She is the author of A Land Twice Promised: An Israeli Woman’s Quest for Peace, and How the Birds Became Friends.
Â
Regi Carpenter has been telling stories throughout the world about her family, the St. Lawrence River and being the youngest of five growing up in a small town on a big river with an undercurrent. She is the founder of Stories with Spirit, a creative initiative dedicated to bringing songs of joy and stories of hope to grieving children and the people who love and care for them in homes, hospices, and hospitals.
“I love this collaboration,” says Lesley Greene, co-director of Story House Ithaca. “It’s the perfect pandemic dividend, with two amazing storytellers dialing in from different parts of the world to share their experiences.”
“We’re honored, flattered, and tickled that Regi and Noa have chosen to support Story House,” adds co-director Jonathan Miller. “For years, their work has been doing just what we’re trying to do – bring people together around the power of stories.”
