Mixed Media and the Creative Process Workshop

Are you dreaming of making art but are not sure how to get started? Are you looking for a fun activity to do with your family? Join us for a “no-stress, let it go and have fun” kind of workshop with Cathy Cruz! 

The workshop is truly designed to encourage both adults and children (8 years-old and up) to be playful and unleash their inherent creativity. No experience required!

In the first part of the workshop, participants will collage printed papers with other SCRAP-found materials and mount them on wood.

We will discuss basic abstract composition, techniques, and tools accessible for children, so come prepared to learn and have fun at the same time! There is absolutely no pressure to complete a final piece of art.  In fact, we encourage you to take it home and practice what you have learned.
