February 1st, 2020 9:00 am to 3:00pm including 1 hr lunch break Come get a "taste" of learning Improv Comedy in this fun, one day workshop! Discover the basic rules of Improv and explore your creativity while playing short-form Improv games. Through group mind exercises, learn to build better listening, communication skills, and how to work as a team. This workshop is for anyone who is interested in becoming more playful, spontaneous, and flexible while making new friends and having loads of fun in a relaxed atmosphere. - Development of Improv Comedic characters! March 7, 2020 9:00 am to 3:00pm including 1 hr lunch break This workshop focuses on the development of characters through environment work, body work, emotion, and observation. We will work as a class to help you create one (or two) solid characters to gain more Improv confidence - focusing on emotional impact, raising the stakes and acting truthfully, all while heightening your sense of play and comedic timing. - Developing Improv Comedy Scene work! April 4, 2020 9:00 am to 3:00pm including 1 hr lunch break Improv is nothing without solid scene work. Learn to boldly initiate scenes, stick with character choices, and heighten moments organically to build funny and poignant scenes.  Details, specifics and information are always needed for a good improv scene. This workshop teaches you HOW to create those scenic needs to open up your scenes so that they inspire your form and fellow players while doing more with less. - Improv Jam! May 2, 2020 9:00 am to 3:00pm including 1 hr lunch break This workshop allows you to utilize the skills you learned in the previous workshops and classes (fundamentals of Improv, characters and scene work) in a fun, relaxed, environment.
