Author Event with B. Dylan Hollis/Baking Across America

Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with B. Dylan Hollis, to celebrate the release of his newest book, Baking Across America: A Vintage Recipe Road Trip, on Friday, May 30th at 7:00 pm at Wentz Concert Hall on the campus of North Central College. All books will be pre-signed.


Event Format

We will begin checking you in approximately 60 minutes before the start time. You will receive your pre-signed book when you check in. After a presentation and Q&A with the author, the photo line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:


  • Posed photo with your camera taken by our staff


All events have open seating. The “Order Line Number” on your pdf ticket is your reserved place in the photo line. You will line up to meet the author based on that number.


If you cannot attend, you must pick up your book (if included with ticket) at the hosting store within 30 days of the event.  We can ship that book to you for an additional charge of $9.99; please call the store to arrange that.


Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.

B. Dylan Hollis is a social media personality who has tasked himself with baking and tasting unusual recipes from bygone years. Born and raised on the island of Bermuda, he later attended college at the University of Wyoming to further a career as a jazz pianist and arranger. He stumbled into both baking and social media fame at once in 2020, when quarantine boredom led him to film an investigation of an old cookbook he had collected from an estate sale. Hundreds of recipes later, Dylan now entertains millions across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram with his unique style and fast jokes. He is the author of the global bestseller Baking Yesteryear. Dylan lives in Laramie, Wyoming.
