Now that the weather is getting colder, it’s time to start thinking about the best places to grab the perfect pumpkin. If you’re going to be in LA this fall, there are plenty of options for pumpkin patch lovers to experience. Why not grab that amazing pumpkin while playing around and enjoying carnival games, rides, and petting zoos? To help capture your pumpkin while you get to enjoy some fun fall festival activities, we’ve created a list of the four best pumpkin patches to visit in LA.
Tina’s Pumpkin Patch is located in Sherman Oaks, right behind the Galleria, so it’s very easy to grab your pumpkin at this event if you’re shopping in that area. Once you get to Tina’s Pumpkin Patch, you might want to stay a little longer because there’s plenty of great family fun to experience. At Tina’s, you’ll see pony rides, a petting zoo, a straw maze, a train, and a giant slide. If you’ve got a little one, it’ll be far more fun to get your pumpkin here while you play around on the rides than it will be to buy one at the grocery store.
At Forneris Farms, you can grab a pumpkin right off the vine while you enjoy an actual farm experience and their Fall Harvest Festival. The pumpkin patch at Forneris Farms is rated as one of the most attractive patches in the entire LA County area, so it’s certainly worth visiting. Plus, there’s plenty of rides and games for adults and children, including a tractor-pull ride, a corn maze, and a giant hay pyramid.
Gilchrest Farms’ Harvest Festival operates around a fun pumpkin patch, and a bevy of rides and fun. The most popular ride at this festival is the horse drawn wagon ride, but that’s not the only thing you can experience here. Other fun events include a straw maze, petting zoo, and farm store. On the weekends, other activities are offered, including face painting, pumpkin decorating, live entertainment, and a bevy of fun fall crafts.
McGrath’s Pumpkin Patch is a real sight to see, with it’s captivating orange pumpkins lining the hillside view from the 101 through Ventura. At McGrath, you can grab a pumpkin right off the vine and then head over to enjoy some fun rides and games. McGrath has hay rides, face paintings, pumpkin carvings, and face painting demonstrations.
