Parables in the Park
Mandala Arts returns to the Chicago Park District's summer programming throughout the city, Night Out in The Parks! Join us in parks in the Devon Avenue neighborhood - as a part of our Mandala Makers Festival - to be a part of a fun and outdoor immersive performance.

Our artists will transform the parks into the forest, teaming with animals and creatures, through costume, movement and music. Join dance artists, Ashwaty Chennat and Shalaka Kulkarni as they tell tales from South Asian cultures - with the support of youth artists. Learn rhythms and mudras - hand gestures - to participate in this unique storytelling performance. Parables in the Park features tabla artist and composer, Krissy Bergmark!
